Solidarity of Women for Development, Environment and
Right of the Child in Congo 

 

"The SOFEDEC is a feminist organization in nature
who fight against discrimination against women in all
levels want to promote human rights and equality between women and
man , in this case occurs in the SOFEDEC various fields
:
- Defend the rights of women, the rights of children ( taken
orphans children) , health , agriculture,
environment, peace in the community, food security and
habitat .

Most of our activities are realize in a rural environment or
mostly women and children suffer a lot of abuse throughout the
level . The SOFEDEC is recognized by the Congolese state since 2010 .

       INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD, CEREMONY ORGANIZED FOR THE KIDS CLUB FRIENDS OF JUSTICE AND PEACE CELL TEXAS THIS SATURDAY, July 26th, 2014
FIRST SPEAKER: THE COORDINATOR
       1 SOFEDEC. This is a solidarity of women for development, environment and rights of children in Congo, a non-governmental organization founded January 5th, 2010 by a group of women, under the inspection of Mr. KAKUMBI Katondo Inock Real SIIREWABO MUYUWA Anuarite currently living in the city Bukavu but borned at Kalehe.
The creation of this organization is the result of an awareness of the plight and inhuman and degrading towards women and children in the world in general and in particular in the DRC in particular.
The SOFEDEC among its objectives, eradicate or fight against all negative discrimination directed against women and children.
      2. SOFEDEC CLUB KID FRIEND OF JUSTICE AND PEACE
The club in question here is a project that has SOFEDEC among these programs put children together knew their right to think and look for the causes. In this club, children will meet twice a week for treat different themes consistent with their rights, and also follow their recommendations and submit it to the national and international level.
     3. QUID OF THE DAY JUNE 16th
     It has begun as the International Children's Day of the African Child.
Historical
      This day was created by the Organization of African Unity (AU) 1991.The International Day of the African Child is an annual event that commemorates the death of children at SOWETO in 1976 for the apartheid regime in South Africa,
thousands of black school children were then marched through the streets to demand their rights. This is the end that Mr. NELSON MANDELA will fight for the freedom to contradict the apartheid regime and it is in this struggle that will be put in prison for 27 years but he ended up winning and freedom came for blacks who were in South Africa.

                       GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Before independence of the DRC (before 1960), the woman's status and

urban, with access to information, training and employment..."
